Social worker and psychologist - Mental Health Dept , Trieste Health Agency (A.S.S. n.1 “Triestina”.
Along my professional life I have worked for building up and implementation of Community based Mental Health Services and Social Co-operatives.
From 1999 to 2006 I’ve been the responsible of Training Programs for all the personnel of the Mental Health Dept..
In this frame, from 2001 to 2004, I have been the Director of an European “Leonardo Project” for training of Community-based Mental Health Nurses (Trieste – Birmingham – Bremen).

Expert - Pilot Project on Mental Health, Manica Province – UNOPS/United Nations Operative Programs Service - Local Human Development Project – Mozambique.


June 1997 – June 1998
Project Manager – Mental Health Community based Services in Mozambique – Experimental Project managed by the Italian NGO C.I.E.S./MAE.


June 1993 – September 1994
Team leader of the Italian Staff in the Psychiatric Hospital of Leros – Greece, for the implementation of the psychiatric reform as established under the Direction of the European Commission - Bruxels.


November 1987 – September 1988
Project Manager – Experimental initiatives for the implementation of Community-based Mental Health Services – Caen, Normandie, France. Collaboration between Italian and French Regions in the frame of a WHO Mental Health Program.


1995 – 2008
Teacher, refresh and vocational - national and local - Courses organised in the frame of Health Ministry Educational Programs.
